ReturnMoi is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients. ReturnMoi uses strict guidelines, policies and procedures to ensure that Customer’s and finder’s information stays confidential and secure on our database.

ReturnMoi wants to make your visit and uses of the website are as secure, enjoyable and pleasant as possible. Please read the Privacy Policy carefully.

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you, as a visitor, what kind of information we may gather about you when you visit our website, how we may use that information, whether we disclose it to anyone, and the choices you have regarding our use of.

By using this website, you signify your agreement to the contents of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use this website. The Company reserves the right, at its discretion, to update or revise this Privacy Policy. Please check this Privacy Policy for changes. Our Policy
Gathering Personal Information:  In activating ReturnMoi products and services, our Customers have imparted their trust in us. Accordingly, we have taken every security precaution necessary to assure that this trust continues to be earned.

We will use or disclose a client's personal information only for the purpose for which it was collected, namely to facilitate the safe return of that client's lost valuable item or animal. 

Company may share part of Customers contact information (such as name, email, contact number etc. never any financial information) with companies from which a Customer has purchased or received a ReturnMoi product. All nonaffiliated companies that act on our behalf and receive Customer information from us are obligated to keep the information we provide to them confidential, and to use the Customer information we share only to provide services from their company. No credit card information will ever be transmitted to anyone at any time. Customer may be prompted to fill out a survey questionnaire, the results of this survey questionnaire are shared with the company that had given or sold the Customer the ReturnMoi product. The company may use this information to contact the Customer at a later date.

If you wish to have your information removed from our list of shared Customer information, please send a request, in writing, to ReturnMoi, 3551 Boul. St-Charles suite 369, Kirkland, Quebec, Canada, H9H3C4 or email info@returnmoi.com with your request and our information will be removed within immediately.

ReturnMoi will not disclose personal information about the finder or owner to each other unless both parties agree. Both parties may agree in situations where they wish to meet each other to facilitate the return of a found item. The same goes for any party or business with whom the lost item has been left by the original finder for courier pickup.

ReturnMoi may disclose your personal information as required or permitted by law or local authorities.

Special Attention to Children: The Company takes special care to protect the safety and privacy of young people using this website. The Company does not specifically collect information about children and believes that children under the age of 18 should get their parents' consent before giving out any personal information.

Correcting Information: It is our clients responsibility to check and update their accurate information in their online account profile. If for some reason we have incorrect or inaccurate information about you, this can be updated by logging into your account; from there you can make any necessary changes. This can also be done by calling our call center at 1-800-831-0717.  

Information about People who use our website: Our system will automatically gather information about people who visit our website. For instance, we gather information about the number of visitors, which web browser is used, the pages they access etc. This helps us to improve our service in a number of ways, for example it helps us to provide an easier to navigate website and to provide clearer more concise information. The Company collects information from the users of this website at different points on the website. The Company is the sole owner of the information collected on this website.

Email: ReturnMoi may inform Customers via email of new products and services or to conduct surveys in order to help us to determine how best to improve our services. Clients will be given the choice of opting not to receive such information requests.

Security
SSL Security: This website takes every precaution to protect users' information. All consumer transactions and purchases on our website are secured using a SSL Digital Certificate. This ensures that all transactions and purchases ReturnMoi clients send to us via the World Wide Web will be encrypted. SSL technology encrypts online information. Credit Card Information: ReturnMoi does not store any credit card details in any of our databases. All online payments are handled through PayPal Inc (www.Paypal.com). We strive to protect all confidential information transmitted to and from our site and we regularly review developments in security and encryption technologies. We cannot however guarantee the privacy or confidentiality of any information passing over the Internet via non-secured email.

Although no system is currently 100% immune from external attack, the Company has taken commercially reasonable measures to prevent the unauthorized access and improper use of your personal information.

Internal Database Access: Our registration database is a restricted access zone strictly limited only to individuals who have fulfilled internal security checks. Strict guidelines and password policies are implemented for all restricted access zones. Almost all private Customer information is entered by our clients themselves or by a call centre agent upon the request of a client.

Because ReturnMoi offers lifetime registration with each product purchased, we do not delete any information provided by Customers in our database unless the Customer requests us to remove it. Please see Terms of Conditions for more information on lifetime registration and yearly activation service.

Shipping Agents:  Information provided to couriers or other individuals responsible with transporting found items is restricted to a standard mailing address, either for the ReturnMoi Customer's home or another designated address. In some cases, these agents will also be aware of the identity of the retrieved article, since they will be required to package the item.

Call and Recovery Centre: Our call and recovery staff has limited access to our internal database. Access to this database is only permitted at the request of a client or to determine the owner of lost items. Strict password policies are implemented to ensure stronger security. Company will do their best to help contact the owner with the information entered in the customer’s account. If the customer can not be reached during a return Company will try to contact secondary emergency numbers listed in Customers account.

Changes to the Privacy Policy: If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes here. Please refer to this page on a continual basis.
